Meet Jerald E. Hurdle, DO

Jerald Hurdle is dually board certified in Family Medicine and Proctology. He chose to sub-specialize in Dermatology. He has extensive training in cosmetic lasers, skin disease, and plastic surgery. His training includes Cleveland Clinic affiliated training programs, Nova Hospital Florida training programs, and Grandview Hospital training programs.

Dr. Hurdle is the current President of the ACOPR. The past Program Chair of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Conference 2012. He received the Guardian of the Profession award in 2014.

Education is important to Dr. Hurdle. He received his Interdisciplinary Master’s Degree in Education and Business from Ohio University. Dr. Hurdle Serves as an active member of ACCSP, MOA (Board Member), AOA, MMA, and AOCPR.

Jerald Hurdle lectures in Maine and outside of the state of ‘Maine on the topics of Dermatology and Inflammatory bowel disease. Jerald Hurdle serves as a mentor and facilitator for the New England College of medicine-training residents. Jerald Hurdle believes the future of medicine relies on the younger generation of doctors. He dedicates his time to encourage, write recommendation letters to Medical Colleges, and personally mentors over the phone to those interested in helping patients across the world.
